Database Trainee

The Database Trainee course is a comprehensive program designed to provide a solid foundation in Database Development/Administration using RDBMS, SQL, and PostgreSQL. This course covers key areas including Data Modeling, ACID compliance, RDBMS, Concept of Normalization (1NF, 2NF, 3NF), Database Security, Access Privilege, and Testing. The course also includes a brief introduction to advanced Database Topics, such as Access Control using GRANT/REVOKE, transaction control using COMMIT/ROLLBACK, SQL Constraints, Complex Table Joins, Aggregate Functions, etc.

After completing this course, the candidate will also be able to write scripts using SQL and/or Bash. A brief knowledge of Linux commands and a handful of SQL automation scripts will also be explored during the process. Other contents include Database Views, Database Roles, Backup/Restore of Databases, DB extensions, etc.
